As a comprehensive eye care center, our doctors provide care for patients both young and old from grandparents to their grandchildren. Dr. Keele practices full-scope optometry with a focus on pediatric eye care and vision therapy. Her passion for working with children spills outside of her work at Northland Eye Specialists. Dr. Keele organized and founded a vision therapy program that has grown over the years, gaining notable reputation in the Northland, especially within the Liberty and Kearney school districts.
During an externship at NSU Eye Institute Pediatrics and Binocular Vision Service and Amblyopia Clinic, Dr. Keele evaluated and managed infants and children with accommodative, binocular and perceptual disorders. She also developed programs and administered vision therapy to children and adults of all ages. “Of course, achieving the best sight possible is important at any age. But for school age and younger children, good eyesight is essential because it plays such a critical role in advancing their educational and physical development,” explains Dr. Keele.
