Dr. Janet Boschert

Dr. Boschert has cared for patients in a wide variety of settings, from commercial offices to military bases, VA medical centers and military prisons. She brings a wealth of experience to Northland Eye Specialists. Dr. Boschert has evaluated active duty military personnel vision readiness for combat and deployment, provided comprehensive eye care to military families, as well as taken care of veterans’ vision, helping treat and manage complex ocular diseases. Sharing and pursuing knowledge is a key aspect of Dr. Boschert’s approach to her career. She has been involved in extensive mentoring, observing and teaching optometric student interns and residents as an O.D. During her residency, Dr. Boschert led scientific article and presentation discussions and participated in optometric research. Over the years, she has advocated for and put in place programs that bridge gaps between ophthalmologists and other patient care providers to improve outcomes. “What attracted me to Northland Eye Specialists is our focus on providing comprehensive eye care, looking at our patients’ eye health overall and collaborating help ensure all needs are met,” Dr. Boschert explains.
